MAKERSPACES and S.T.E.A.M. Rooms – The Power of Creative Learning Spaces in Education- Part 1

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

MAKERSPACES and S.T.E.A.M. rooms provide challenges and opportunities for student to think, create, problem solve, explore and discover. Thoughtful activities can and should align with the CCSS, ISTE and NextGen standards.  During Part 1 of this workshop, you will be an inquisitive learner in a MAKERSPACE/S.T.E.A.M. playground where you can experiment with many of the activities we are currently using at Petroglyph and E.G. Ross.  During Part 2 we will share our experiences developing and implementing a MAKERSPACE/S.T.E.A.M. room and facilitate your planning process so your school can have its own unique creative space for your students to learn!
