ARIS - Make Your Own AR Learning Experiences

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

ARIS (arisgames.org) is easy to use, open-source software for creating augmented reality experiences (tours, scavenger hunts, full blown games, branching stories, geo-media collection activities, etc.), using GPS, QR codes, and more to work indoors and out. You make games in the browser and instantly can have users play them on iOS (Android soon). Used across many contexts and content areas since 2009, ARIS can create content for learners, or be used by them to learn through design. This workshop will get participants up in running in ARIS, covering the creation of a basic GPS tour.
