The process examined in the session exemplifies a way in which leadership can unite those with a shared vision of purposeful change and the desire to reimagine teaching in order to support learning objectives. What is powerful about this story is that when the district did not have the resources to create an environment in which learners could gather, an organic "space" unfolded where amazing innovation happened with little financial backing. Culture began to change within the district as a group of like minded individuals gathered and created systemic processes. What is a school district to do when there are no resources to ensure professional growth around technology? Here is one school districts response to this very situation. Equity was created by those who had none in regards to support and resources. Participants will: Identify infrastructure, pedagogical, and cultural challenges common to digital integration. Identify steps in which one school district met the above mentioned challenges by engaging like minded teachers, students, and administrators. Understand how digital integration advocacy can be leveraged by individuals from the ground up.
