The Beaverton School District suffered a catastrophic data center event in August 2013, impacting all learning and business systems. This session will examine leadership and organizational lessons learned through the story of the event, crisis, recovery, and subsequent planning processes. Attendees will leave understanding how leadership, planning, and the power of teams are critical to supporting students, teachers and staff in their work and learning, even when the unimaginable happens.
