Innovative Digital Education and Learning Resources to support NM Schools and Districts

In this presentation, the audience will be guided through IDEAL-NM resources available to districts and state charter schools that can be used in the classroom and other support services. Some items may be used free of charge while others have seat limits or enrollment fees. Mini-demonstrations how a school/district or individual teacher can gain access will be shown. Items covered include: licensed software, the Brightspace LMS, IXL, EdReady, Hippocampus, NROC, TechYES, web-conferencing, digital portfolios, course content, learning objects, AP courses/resources, and professional development for teachers. Guidance will be given on implementation and how leadership, instructors, or technology experts can use to help students meet competency at grade level. IDEAL offers portals to schools, districts and state agencies with over 120 individual learning environments to facilitates digital learning. The virtual school offers over 90 courses including AP courses taught by Highly Qualified NM certified teachers.
